“This new partnership with Siemens allows us to expand our offerings and provide customers with the best possible solution for their machine needs,” said Ken Brown, CEO of AMS. “We are pleased to be selected by Siemens to be the factory authorized Siemens Solution Partner for CNC systems in the Pacific Northwest.”
The Siemens Solutions Partner program is a stringent quality assurance system designed to ensure that Siemens and partners like AMS share quality, technical competency, and service goals to deliver the best possible system solutions. Siemens chose AMS based on its demonstrated expertise in motion control and CNC technologies, sound quality processes, and a solid business model.
As part of the Partner program, AMS engineers participate in an ongoing training program to ensure competence with the entire family of CNC products. In addition, AMS engineers are also fully engaged with the Simotion Solution Partner Program and can leverage existing experience with S120 drives and Siemens Motion and PLC architectures to provide well grounded support and technology recommendations for a wide variety of machine configurations.
“Siemens has done a good job putting together a robust hardware package and I think our customers will appreciate the simplicity and soundness of these products” said Mike Bertuleit, PE, manager of the systems engineering group at AMS. “I’m also pleased to see the emphasis on training and support that Siemens offers as part of the Solution Partner program. It’s a great benefit for us and our customers.”
