Innovation in real applications ，the HARTING Technology Group at the Hannover Messe 2012

      The world’s leading technology fair - the Hannover Messe - will reopen its doors from April 23 to 27, 2012. “Greentelligence” is the key theme this year’s fair, which is celebrating its 65th anniversary. “The exhibitors at all eight leading fairs will demonstrate that an intelligent mix of efficient processes, eco-friendly materials and sustainable products is critical to survival in today’s highly competitive, dynamic international markets,” explained Dr. Wolfram von Fritsch, Chairman of the Board of Management at Deutsche Messe AG. China, the official partner country, will also take up this theme by presenting intelligent, sustainable solutions.

      The HARTING Technology Group has adopted the slogan “innovation in real applications” for its trade fair presence this year, clearly focusing on “efficiency improvement”. The HARTING smart Power Networks concept for energy-efficient machinery and systems will play a key role here at the main stand C13 in hall 11. As a key technology in efficient production processes, the smartPN units shift the energy technology functions to the network infrastructure. The smart Power Networks will go on display in a live application at stand D06 in hall 8 of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence.

      Further highlights from HARTING’s triad of Installation Technology, Device Connectivity and Smart Network Infrastructure at the 800 m² stand include Han-Fast® Lock, the easy and flexible circuit board connection technology and Ha-VIS RFID, the seamlessly-integrated RFID solution for efficient production processes. This year, HARTING will again present its innovative solutions, for example in the fields of wind power plants and electric car mobility, at the leading trade fair Energy (hall 27, stand J24) and at MobiliTec (hall 25, L09), the leading fair for hybrid and electromobility technologies.

      The TectoYou youth initiative will of course once again be a key element of HARTING’s trade fair presence. Around 500 schoolchildren will attend TectoYou 2012 at the invitation of the Espelkamp-based family company to find out about technical career opportunities. The emphasis will be on a fun approach to technology in pavilion 33 (stand A02). Many of the ideas for HARTING’s TectoYou stand have come directly from the company’s apprentices. The “Naschithek” - originally a HARTING goods and sales system - has been completely redesigned by the apprentices on their own initiative. They also devised the new quiz “Are You a HARTING Genius?” themselves.

      At the Job & Career Market (hall 6, J24/16), a team from Human Resources will provide information on HARTING as an employer and current job opportunities.

      HARTING’s Mitronics division will also have a presence again this year, showcasing its innovations in the field of microtechnology at the IVAM (International Trade Association for Microtechnology, Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, Hall 17, C48/7) joint stand.
